Do you recycle?
As a nation we are being told "WE" make too much waste and the normal taxpayers are to blame.I disagree with this.
When my local paper is delivered to me, I have to fillet it and throw the pizza delivery/furniture store leaflets out by the dozen.It that my fault?
When I buy toys for my children or Easter eggs they have been vacuum packed in so much plastic and cardboard and it requires a chainsaw to get the contents out.Is that my fault?
Perhaps when you are filling your muticoloured rubbish bags you may think "Is this really my fault?"
Yes I have often wondered the same thing. I try to recycle as much as I can, eg. paper, waste food etc, but it angers me that they are willing to charge for the use of plastic bags in shops, but not doing anything about the amount of plastic used to package toys etc. Manufacturers definately need to cut down on the amount of packaging they use, and try to make it more eco-friendly. It begs the question, do they really care for the environment, or merely looking for yet another way to grab money from people?!
